Kenny Britt has had enough chances. Honestly I'm not sure a team would even bother trading for him or not. With all of these questions up in the air I wanted to show the list of 2013 FA WRs and see which ones you guys think could replace Britt. http://www.fftoolbox.com/football/2012/contract_year_players.cfm?player_pos=WR
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, just yet. Also, that has to be the worse WR FA class I have ever seen.
His trade value is at an all time low right now. Legal issues and knee issues, no one would be dumb enough to trade for him.
Way to early to be thinking about free agents. Some guys on that list will get re-signed. Some guys not on that list will get cut. Some franchise guys on one-year deals (who are not on that list) may hit the market. No point even thinking about it now.
Will draft a guy in the mid rounds next season most likely but I think we are set at the front end of our WR core for the immediate future. Washington and Wright are our #1/#2 guys and Williams and Hawkings are decent 3rd and 4th options respectively. We may look to add someone in the draft to replace Williams/Washington in the future but I doubt we go into the FA market for a guy.
I will be the first to say it, I don't want to bring in a big name WR regardless of what happens to Britt.
I dunno. Washington ain't getting any younger, and we probably ought to actually see if Wright can play before we annoint him. I could easily see us taking a receiver in the first two rounds next year, if the right guy happens to be sitting there. Of course, a lot of that depends on what happens in other areas of the team... if the pass rush looks good, and the corners hold up fine, and we don't have any glaring needs, it becomes more likely.
We are going to need safety help soon, not too mention guard. It all depends on how some guys develop, so its too early to tell.
Victor Cruz and Greg Jennings stand out if they truly are both available next year and have good years this year.
