    B. Williams reminds me a lot of Mike Martin last draft. Both were not originally going to be slated as high draft pick and started to pick up some buzz at the Senior Bowl. If Williams has a good combine then I think he will go in the 3rd round but honestly this class is too stacked at DT for him to shoot up but so much. I'd love for us to take him though.

I firmly believe Brandon Williams is going to make a big push as a late 2nd round pick the competition ahead of him all have question marks. Brandon did come from a small college, but the senior bowl proved his game did not come from being a man among boys by dominated BCS talent.

To be honest the DTs that I was hoping to wow me, did little to nothing. Jenkins looks very poor in game. Much like his actual tape... And maybe even more so at the senior bowl. Just didnt do anything. I didn't really notice ANY DT doing what I wanted to see. Just strong bull rush and consistent push. Didnt happen. If we don't get star at 10 I don't see us bothering with DT til maybe round 3 or even later.

Yup. On point broski. Zero push. Looked good in practice and then vanished during the game, I was mighty disappointed.

However Im not sure Bwilliams is worth our second. If they arnt going to make the difference we need, it's kind of a wasteful pick. I'd rather see us pick up DE depth that could slide or S

Their are alot of players I want in this years draft for our team, it just so happen they will all land around 1st-3rd round.

I really like B.Williams, do I like him as a 2nd round pick no, but that's where I think we would have to draft him to get him.

What I would like to see is
    Round 1 Chance Warmack
    Round 2 Desmond Trufant
    Round 3 Brandon Williams
    Round 4 Brian Schwenke

Yea trufant could be gone by then, Williams as an early second is too soon, and 3rd is too late. Schwenke is good as a 4th.

The problem with a draft like that is it really misses the talented areas of this draft. A lot of talent at DE and Safety. If we go offensive line in the first I expect a DE or S in the second and the which ever other in the third. Mainly because those are the positions we will be able to get most value from at the pick. Second could however easily go with whoever slips outta the first. Could be anyone

In all honesty I feel the offensive has the most depth in the later round to waste a first round pick on Warmack to name a few:
    Dallas Thomas
    David Quessenberry
    Larry Warford
    Brian Winters
    Alvin Bailey
    Barrett Jones
    Brian Schwenke

Their are so many players I wouldn't mind have in this draft it's unreal for defensive end for example I would not be mad if we drafted any one of these guys :Werner, Datone Jones, Okafor, Ansah, Hunt, Moore and all those guys have 1st-2nd round grades on them.

When you look at it from a different point of few if we pass on defensive end in the first few rounds and a Brandon Jenkins is sitting their around 3 or 4 who could be just as good as any of those guys.

I still feel getting a dominate defensive tackle will see more production from Wimbley and Morgan plus a more productive offensive to keep our defense off the field.

The DT argument is entirely true. I've mad numerous posts about it. Pretty sure I've been trying to enlighten half the board how the defense works lol... However I am not truely sold on a single DT that will do what we need him to do. Call doubles, push pocket and hold point of attack.

It'll be an interesting draft for sure. I just see so much talent to get that it's going to be hard to call picks until we see what happens in those first 9 picks.

    Exactly.
I've been arguing this recently as well. The drop off from Star to the other DT's' is huge. I'd rather bring in Dorsey than draft a reach DT at 10(see Sheldon Richardson).

There are 3 DE's I really like. Werner, Moore and Mingo. If one of them drops to 10 it will be interesting. Floyd and Short are two guys I like at 39 if you need a DT in the draft. I dont think Richardson or Hankins are that much better.

I think Martin played very well in his rookie season and it wouldn't surprise me if the Titans have pencilled him in to start with Casey, if thats the case we are looking at a mid round DT or free agency.

DE is a serious need for us.
