I always have to be a homer and include us in the playoff mix somehow, but I feel like we have a decent shot this year. It sure would be awesome to be able to beat the Texans in January.

If we can beat the Texans in Houston, there's no reason why we can't beat Peyton Manning who always struggles severely in the playoffs. I'd love nothing more than to knock out the guy who picked Denver over us.

Love the optimism here. But even if we get 9 wins.the rest of the AFC has to play not great football for use to get a wild card with that record.

About 2-3 weeks ago I looked at every AFC teams schedule and had a mock season, from that I concluded we'll make it as a wildcard team at either 9-7 or 10-6, possibly 11-5 if we win all the games we're suppose to win.

I want to believe we'll be 10-6, but I just can't be THAT optimistic.

I said 10-6 last year and we went 6-10, so I gotta mix things up.

And you can pretty much guarantee at least one AFC wildcard team will be 9-7. The AFC is awful. Not one dominant team outside the Broncos and Pats.

See, its not just me who takes your advice and reverses it. Even the universe says you're wrong.

Saturday night before bed you need to do us all a favor and say 5-11 3x in a row in front of a mirror. Maybe then we'll have a real chance at the post season.

I'm starting to think maybe Kenbrell Thompkins for Offensive ROTY and Luke Keuchly for Defensive POTY, but I'll stick with Hopkins and Ware.
