Still no Stanford? They are up to 6th in the BCS?

Stanford has some games to get back in to things. They beat UCLA and still play Oregon and possibly the Pac12 championship game. Their season is far from over.

Yeah I guess you can throw them in the mix. I still think 1 loss to a non automatic qualifier and a pretty mediocre Utah team keeps them out regardless of how many big wins they finish with. They'd have to be the only 1 loss team and I just don't see that happening.

With the BCS Rankings out, here's my updated National Championship survival list:

A lot of the teams in the picture play each other which is gonna make for some good football and IMO leave less controversy. It looks like it's for sure going to be an SEC team versus either an ACC, PAC-12, or B1G team though.

#1 Alabama (vs #13 LSU, @ #11 Auburn, SEC Championship*)
#2 Florida State (vs #7 Miami, @ Florida, ACC Championship)
#3 Oregon (vs #12 UCLA, @ #7 Stanford, vs #25 Oregon St, PAC 12 Championship*)
    #4 Ohio State (@ #22 Michigan, B1G Championship)
#5 Missouri (vs #21 South Carolina, vs #16 Texas A&M, SEC Championship)
#7 Miami (@ #2 FSU, vs #14 Virginia Tech, ACC Championship*)
#8 Baylor (vs #15 Oklahoma, vs #10 Texas Tech, @ #19 OK State, vs Texas)
    #10 Texas Tech (@ #15 Oklahoma, vs #12 Baylor, @ Texas)
#11 Auburn (vs Georgia, vs #1 Alabama, SEC Championship*)
#14 Virginia Tech (@ #7 Miami, ACC Championship*)
    #15 Oklahoma (vs #10 Texas Tech, @ #8 Baylor, @ #19 OK State)

It'll be MIZZOU vs Bama or Auburn in the SEC Championship, the winner of that will punch a ticket to the MNC. Then the 2nd spot will be between FSU, Oregon, Ohio State, Miami, and Virginia Tech. I think the Big 12 Teams will beat each other up and they lack a conference championship which could hurt them if we're comparing 1 loss teams which is probably what's going to happen.

I love how when supposed good SEC teams lose to terrible SEC teams, it's ok because the SEC is so tough.

That makes all kinds of sense.

Since when has a lack of a conf championship hurt a team in BCS bowl placement .. and how do you keep getting Virginia Tech in the NCG??

You really should save yourself all the typing when you're creating these little write ups because NO ONE takes you seriously. Go to Bleacher Report with this mess :shakehead:

It is funny how all of a sudden people think Auburn is good.

Texas A&M is overrated. They have a ton of offense but absolutely no defense what-so-ever. They squeeked by Arkansas by 13 and then squeeked by Ole Miss by 3 (two teams Alabama shut out). They had to get extremely lucky to even make the game against Bama as close as it was.

This idea that Auburn will do anything in the Iron Bowl is just silly. Bama will do to them what they've done to them the past two years.

But.. according to a couple posters here, only the SEC is guilty of infractions.
    ACC, ACC, ACC!

The SEC is down this year, it's no secret.

-There is one elite team (Alabama)
-A couple of the top teams have suffered big injuries (Georgia, Florida)
-Then we have our underachievers (A&M, LSU)
-Throw in the two teams that have surprised (Auburn, Missouri)

As long as Bama beats LSU in a few weeks then they'll be on their way to another championship.
