Wow. Cross Clemson, LSU, Texas A&M, UCLA and South Carolina off the list.

That leaves 11 teams with a realistic chance at the MNC left.

    Team (Notable Games left)
Alabama (vs #6 LSU, @ #24 Auburn, SEC Championship*)
Oregon (vs #9 UCLA, @ #13 Stanford, PAC 12 Championship*)
Ohio State (@ Michigan, B1G Championship)
Florida State (vs #10 Miami, @ #22 Florida, ACC Championship)
Miami (@ #5 FSU, vs #19 Virginia Tech, ACC Championship*)
Baylor (vs #18 Oklahoma, vs #16 Texas Tech, @ #21 OK State, vs Texas)
Auburn (vs #15 Georgia, vs #1 Alabama, SEC Championship*)
Missouri (vs #11 South Carolina, vs #7 Texas A&M, SEC Championship)
Texas Tech (@ #18 Oklahoma, vs #12 Baylor, @ Texas)
    Oklahoma (vs #16 Texas Tech, @ #12 Baylor, @ #21 OK State)
Virginia Tech (@ #10 Miami, ACC Championship*)

In the next few weeks the picture will start to become more clear as FSU and Miami will play each other, Miami and Virginia Tech, Baylor and Oklahoma, Oklahoma and Texas Tech, and Texas Tech and Baylor. So teams will start eliminating each other.

My unbiased prediction is that Alabama wins out and stays #1 whle Oregon will drop one of their remaining 3 possible tough games. Ohio State plays a cupcake schedule and they'll likely win out and play bama in the MNC.

It would be nice to see my Hokies win out which would knock out Miami and FSU from contention. And if OSU and Oregon each drop 1 that would surely make it hard to not put VT in the ship against Alabama in a rematch.

The BCS standings come out tomorrow so I'll try to update the rankings accordingly, it'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

    Here's hoping!

As for SEC teams being overrated, yeah, Georgia and LSU definitely were. Texas A&M kind of was too, since the way to beat them is just get into a shoot-out since they have NO DEFENSE WHAT-SO-EVER. Granted, Auburn has some lucky non-calls towards the end there, but still, A&M isn't all that and they're going to be a bottom feeder in the SEC when Mark Evans is gone (IMO most of Manziel's success is on Evans' shoulders).

Though Mizzouri... what the **** is up with them? Geez.

Think this is the year that a non SEC team wins the BCS championship. Ohio State just cupcakes their way to the title game against their weak ass BIG10 opponents. Oregon is good enough to win them all and face Ohio State.

    Bama loses the Iron Bowl.

Oh how the Barn kids dream when they do anything.

LSU has already shown that all you need to beat Auburn is some kind of defense at all.

And Alabama already demonstrated that they can score points on a team with no defense (see A&M).

Don't worry, Auburn will get beat by Georgia and then Alabama will put you back in your place.
