I'm pretty sure if you are local it will also be covered by one of the major networks... or I should say they will broadcast the NFLN feed.

I have never understood why some people get so excited about the schedule. We've known for four and a half months who we're playing and where, the only thing we don't know yet is when. For that matter, we know years in advance 14 of the 16 games.

And why are some people so obsessed about prime time games? If it's a home game, I'll be there. If it's an away game, I'll watch on TV. No different than any non-prime time game.

There are only a couple of important things about the schedule being released. For those who live out of town, it enables you to plan now for those games you wish to attend. For me, it allows the wife to plan for when we go out of town in the fall (she knows we can't do that when there's a home game, so all trips are planned around away games.)

I want to open against the Colts or Jags. Let's keep the Houston game for later in the season so they matter more. Plus I hate starting off with a loss. Not saying we would lose against HOU, but a much better shot of beating Indy or Jax.

I always get excited because I always try to make it out there for at least one home game. So i pick which game and start planning. Hopefully there is a home game on September 30th so I can start my honeymoon by dragging the wife to a game.

And being on the east coast of north Carolina they don't air many Titans games on CBS or Fox so its either Get NFL Sunday ticket(which I can't because I can't have direct tv at the apartment) or watch on the computer. But prime time games means I can watch them at home for sure.

Yea, I've known how the schedule works for a long time now. Pretty simple.

But I'm still excited to see the order of our schedule. I like to travel to some games and depending on the dates, I may or may not be able to go.

I definitely get excited to find out the schedule. I dislike getting 3 home games in a row and always prefer them spaced out, although I'm also good with more Oct/Nov/Dec games as I prefer colder to hotter for my football atmosphere. I also want to see if we have games that aren't just noon games, love it when we have 3pm or night games. Plus it effects travel arrangements if I have future vacation plans that I know about in the fall.

There's nothing better than going 1-0.. Hopefully we get the Colts, or Jaguars at home week 1.

I will be pissed when our "primetime game" is an NFL network thursday nighter, since I don't get that network.

Guess I'll go watch it at a sports bar.

I'd really love to go to another game this year. I went to my first NFL game last year (home vs. Jax) and it was a blast.
