Idk about CJ winning rookie of the year, but he should've won the MVP when he broke Faulk's record two years ago. Peyton had a pretty average year compared to his other seasons.

I think if we had been in the running for the playoffs then he would have had a chance. It is hard to lose like we did to the Pats and have a player named LEAGUE MVP. As great as CJ was that year, you still need a supporting cast to be crowned MVP IMO.

To us? Sure.

I don't think the world felt that way. I think they saw him as a really good RB who split time with LenDale. Ryan got 44 votes and CJ got 3.

Agree with it or not, the reality is any quarterback who has a good season is probably going to win.

You also have to look at what Ryan went through. Guy was literally tossed into the fire.......

.......or dog pit, either way you want to look at it.

Only Titans fans (and very bias ones) would argue CJ over Ryan in 08.
