What do you guys think about Donte Whitner to replace Hope?

He'd def be an upgrade. Although, I think Whitner will want some major money.. he just came off a 140 tackle season.

Gray left a year before Whitner was drafted, shucks, he doesn't give us an edge then. :(

thoughts on us getting Quintin Mikell for Titans replacement SS and cut Hope. The guy is thirty and soon to be on the decline but right now is playing at a pro-bowl level.

I'd rather just keep Hope. I think the biggest problem with Hope last year was the scheme. He was in a lot of deep coverage playing as a FS, but he's better suited at SS. Last year we really had no distinction and no SS position on the field. I think Gray will take us back tot he FS/SS lineup and Hope will return to form.
