    Great pick, great value! A more traditional type OLB which suggests that Ayers may be used primarily as a pass rusher. Very solid all around prospect. A 3rd rd caliber player.

    Not sure how McCarthy is "limited athletically". Ran a 4.58, 23 BP, 36" vert, 6'1 238. Needs to put on a little weight. 120 tackles last season.

    I like McCarthy as an MLB, but he is versatile and can play OLB to.

    McCarthy's height at 6'1 is why he lasted this long. If he was 6'3 he could have been a 2nd rd pick with his on field play and combine.

    At 238 he doesn't need to add any weight he is stout enough for a 4-3 OLB.

    He is strong in both the upper and lower body and his combine shows him to be a fine athlete.
