being from North carolina I hear a lot about Bruce Carter, so I was just wondering what you guys thought of him. He is an outside linebacker who is pretty big and has a 4.5 40 time. He is a finalist for the Butkus award(Nation top Linebacker) this year. He is a senior and is projected to be taken somewhere in the top 15 picks. I know one need we have is linebacker. He is goes to UNC(which I hate) so I dont watch him much but he is all anyone here talks about. He lived in the same town and and graduated from the same highschool I went to. Let me know if yall have heard of him and what you guys think about it

I think he's brilliant and would love to have him early in the second.
Dont think he'll be anywhere near the top 15, I do however anticipate a stunning combine performance by him.

im from NC too and let me start off by saying if you dont like UNC f**k you

anyway bruce is a freak of nature. i think he runs a 4-39 in the 40 yard dash and he hits like a truck. he would be a great addition to this team. i dont think we get him though we have bigger needs at other spots.

Exactly. Bigger needs at other positions. I'm fine with Witherspoon, Tulloch, and McRath. Someone just needs to teach them to cover.

It'll be interesting how his combine goes. I believe he ran a 4.57 40 time at UNCs pre-pro day at the start of the year. Its rumored he ran a 4.39 also..

Regardless, we'll probably be picking top-15. And I see Bruce as an late 1st/early 2nd pick. Theres alot of talented OLBs: Robert Quinn (3-4 OLB), Akeem Ayers, Travis Lewis, Von Miller, Justin Houston (3-4 OLB), and Greg Jones..

He's highly overrated, just like Marvin Austin. I'll pass..

Unless you think a linebacker or safety are going to be transcendent players at their positions you can't pick them in the top 12. We're going QB, DL, or OT if we stay at five wins.
