Saw this on NFL.com. It is the top 200 fantasy rankings for the 2010 season. Glad to see CJ getting the respect he deserves. I was kinda suprised to see Peyton all the way at #9 though :ha: , figured he would have been 1 or 2

Here is where our guys stand:

    #1-CJ
    #88-VY
    #109-Kenny Britt
    #142-Nate Washington
    #198-Javon Ringer

Suprised to see Ringer on the list, and I think by the end of this season Britt will prove to be better than 109. But seriously, no Scaife?

    CJ is beast.

Good to see them valuing Vince a bit... Impressive to see him at the 15th best QB IMO... ahead of Big Ben and Carson Palmer.

No Bironas over Ringer? Doesn't make too much sense to me. And yea, I'm not sure why Scaife wouldn't be over Ringer either.

those are fantasy rankings. let me tell you from experience, bo scaife sucks for fantasy football. he doesn't get redzone looks, disappears for stretches at a time and doesn't usually end up with a whole lot of yards per game.

he's good for moving the chains in real football, but he won't help you win very many games on the internet gridiron.

You can't compare fantasy rankings to real football rankings. Totally different things. Also, the NFL.com fantasy writer is pretty terrible, so those aren't even good fantasy rankings.

QBs are very rarely in the top 1 or 2 on fantasy rankings, partially b/c they all put up similarly ranged points and you can get more points from WRs and RBs than you can from QBs, more times than not

still means they expect him to do alot if he's at 9th overall, but unless they expect him to put up like 300-400 yards minimum per game, every game, then a qb wont end in top spot

Kickers don't make top 200 lists

they all score so similarly (since they're all kicking FGs and extra points) that they pretty much are saved as last or next to last picks since more times than not it's not a major pick and there's plenty of reasonable options available

Why in the hell is Aaron Rodgers ahead of Drew Brees???

    Logic fail right there.

Drew Brees throws for 300 YPG.

While that is true, there is no way Javon Ringer will score more points than Rob Bironas.

They aren't rated on a points basis. That would be a theoretical draft order.

Most leagues have 2RB + 1RB/WR spot means that in a standard 10 person league, you could have up to 30 RBs starting for a team on any given week (not taking byes into account). Someone like Ringer is gonna get a decent amount of carries this year, the Titans would be retarded to use CJ as much as they did last year. And think about what happens if CJ gets hurt? Ringer would be a clear favorite to take the front in a run-first offense which means big fantasy points.

Kickers on the other hand, you can pick one up off the waivers at any point and you'd really only be +/- 3 points on average.

I can see Vince about the middle of the NFL in QB ranks. Add in some rushing stats and 15 is about right. Big Ben being suspended 6 (possibly 4) games will hurt his value. Dunno about Palmer.

That list is screwed. They have Lendale, who is bench fodder at best ranked higher than McNabb who has been fantasy gold for years.. Carson/Ben under Vince is preposterous..
