Him, Jay Moore, whose is about as fast and tall, just not as dimensional or as technically able as Carriker, Brian Robison, Chase Pittman and Jacob Ford.

Well, Hughes is gone. I thought he was still around. Colts got him. Dungy sure is crafty.

Day 2 should be interesting. Reese was pretty good at finding gems the second day.

Let's hope Reinfeldt has targeted some quality players in the fourth and is willing to package a few picks to go up and get them.

The focus has to be on DE and CB today. I wouldn't be surprised to see a DT, TE or G/C as well late.

Let's take Courtney Brown, DB Cal Poly. 6'1 205, 4.32, compares to Chris McAlister.

Why the front office are drafting the players they are drafting

Reading the team report on usatoday.com on our team you can see why the titans are drafting the players they are drafting, as 2 of the 3 players they drafting are the ones they had in the private visits to nashville before the draft according to usatoday.com:

—Among recent prospects that recently had official visits with the Titans in Nashville were: Receivers — Tennessee's Robert Meachem, LSU's Dwayne Bowe, South Carolina's Sidney Rice, Ohio State's Ted Ginn Jr. and Fresno State's Paul Williams.

Defensive linemen — Florida's Jarvis Moss, Purdue's Anthony Spencer, North Carolina Central's Greg Peterson and Michigan's LaMarr Woodley:

Running backs — Cal's Marshawn Lynch and Arizona's Chris Henry.

Cornerbacks — Arkansas' Chris Houston and Tennessee's Jonathan Wade.

    Free safety: Florida's Reggie Nelson.

    Linebacker: Hampton's Justin Durant.

So i think this brings some explaination to the madness thats why they was so low key about who they brought in for private workouts because they know they would be drafting from the players they brought in for private visits. By the way it looks on the DE front the greg peterson guy from north carolina central should be our next pick if hes still avaliable as hes rated a second day selection.

    Second day players left...

Well, it doesn't look like the defense will add the MOST IMPORTANT PIECE (a pass rushing DE) so let's see what's left in the draft...

    DE
    Robison*** (already gone)
    Atkins*
    Ford
    Hickman

    DT
    W.Thomas***
    M.Thomas** (Charcter issues)
    K.Brown*
    P.Soliai*
    K.Jackson**
    D.Landri
    J.Anoai
    R.Clifton
S.Harris (grab this guy as a FA)

    MLB
    Abbatte**
    Bishop*
    Blades**
    Siler**
    Taylor

    OLB
    Alexander*
    DeOssie*** (+ST) (late)
    Sartz*** (SAM) (late)
    Burgess
    Everett
    Holloway
    Olajubutu

    CB
    Bain***
    Bennett**
    CBrown
    TBrown (character issues)
    Davis** (nickel)
    Irons**
    T.Jackson*
    R.Smith** (nickel)
    McDonald
    Scott

    S
    Gattis (FS)

    P
    Sepulveda**
    Bliss

    K
    Crosby**
    Medlock**

    C
    Datish**
    Lucas
    Fenton*
    Mozes*
    Sendlein (FA)

    OG
    Ramirez***
    Beekman*
    Nwaneri
    Wrotto
    Bennett
    Duckworth
    Esera
    Jones
    Palmer
    Studdard

    OT
    Denman
    C.Johnson*
    Free
    Frye
    Koets*
    Otto

    QB
    Moore*
    Troy Smith***
    Zabransky

    RB
    R.Taylor***
    D.Walker*
    Bradshaw

    WR
    Allison**
    D.Ball** (6th or 7th)
    Baker
    Caldwell
    Clowney**
    J.Kent*
    S.Newton** (6th or 7th - QB/RB/WR)
    Stuckey*
    Trannon
    Woods*

    TE
    Patrick*
    Milner
    Newton
    Chandler
    Harline*** (7th)

Players I'd like to see us grab (***)...

    DT Walter Thomas
    OLB DeOssie
    OLB Startz
    CB T.Bain
    OG M.Ramirez
    RB R.Taylor
    QB T.Smith
    TE J.Harline

I would gamble on a DE like Atkins if they like any of these guys. We are in dire straits for a pass rushing RDE.
