I think Ramsey would be the best pick...this draft is deep for DL and OT isn't it?

I was laughing so hard when Fish selected Gurley with #10... Not only a RB, but an injured one too and coming off suspension.

Half way through his rookie season, sure long way to go, but that guy looks SERIOUS.

Still though, I don't want a RB in first. I'm thinking its time we get an elite Safety... Or elite WR/DL/LB... We need play makers...

With Mariota playing the way he is- it's obviously time to make sure we get weapons for him. CB is a huge need tho. I can't complain if we go that route early, I do hope we start amassing madden style offensive weapons for Yoda to use.

Not sold on Henry. I'm not sure he is a game changer. Every time I see him running wild, it is because Alabama is mauling people.

Depending on when we pick, I like a thumper that we can play at ILB or DB. We also need an OT. I like Jaylon Smith and Ragland and all the top DB's.

RBs in the first have been solid, but... for how long? The sample is way too small.

    AP has been consistently good.
CJ was good for a few years... then wasn't and is on another team.
Gurley... too soon. If he can keep this up and only drop a bit in quality over the next 5 years... great pivk. Otherwise, mot worth a first.

For me, a first round pick needs to be a good pick for, st least, 5 years. At least.

    AP, yes.
    CJ, no.
    Gurley, we'll see.

Gurly has been amazing so far.
    Gordon has been bad.
    Trent Richardson was bad.
Doug Martin. Good rookie year, bad since then, though playing better now.
    David Wilson. Bad.
Mark Ingram. Bad the first several years. Not great now.
CJ Spiller. Good 2 our of 6 years. Always hurt.
Ryan Mathews. Couple of good years. Nothing special.
    Jahvid Best. Bad.
    Knowshown Moreno. Bad.
    Donald Brown. Bad.
    Beanie Wells. Bad.

    That's the last 12 taken, since 2009.

There's not a RB I'd even consider in the 1st outside of Fournette, and since that's not likely to happen, then no. I think we go Tackle or DB. I think Tunsil will be long gone by the time we pick, so it's looking more and more like an elite DB IMO. I'd love to grab Hargreaves and move Mccourty to another position.

While Henry is a physical specimen, his vision seems to be very subpar. Too many times I catch myself questioning the direction he ran when there is a clear opening the other way. Great college player, but I think his vision is too raw to truly succeed in the NFL, at least for several years.

If you're a UT fan then you should know first hand that the Bama backs are a product of the system and the amazing OL's that they churn out. None of the RB's from the Saban era have gone on to be great NFL backs. Lacy is probably the best of the bunch and even he isn't that great.

Jalen Hurd is better back than Henry in my opinion. Hurd almost eclipsed the 100 yard mark against that vaunted Bama front 7. Averaging over 4 yards per carry. He has the size, speed, and agility of an every down NFL back, and he is great in catching passes out of the back field and great in pass protection as well. The fact that he's performing so well behind a bad OL is testament to his skills.
