Buffalo has the worse run defense in the league. We are gonna run run run on them all day. CJ should have another huge day.

This is a copy and paste but I think it describes the odds of making the playoffs fairly well.

"Once the NFL moved to four divisions and two wild cards, the league has settled somewhere between the two previous eras. In the modern alignment, the 23 teams finishing exactly 10-6 have made the playoffs 87% of the time. After subtracting the nine division winners, a 10-6 record has given teams a 79% chance of grabbing a wild card. In fact, a 10-6 team has missed the playoffs in half the seasons under the current format. It’s happened like clockwork in the odd numbered years. The trends say someone’s going to go home disappointed"

I think the biggest thing is now Young has the confidence to make a play, but not overly try something. It seemed earlier this year that Collins was trying to force things....which is NOT how things were last year. Let the field open up for you, which has been working for Young.

Plus the D is building that swagger again. I for one if I was on the field with that D, id be playing alot harder when that offense is scoring and keep them off the field for awhile.....which the offense wasnt doing in those 6 losses.

We aren't getting to the playoffs hoping for the best as you put it. I get that you figure play our best corner on their best receiver, but that wont be the case with 31 on 81. Owens has been nothing close to himself in Buffalo, and isn't a player I'd be concerned with honestly. I'd prefer Hood on Owens. Mainly for the simple fact that Owens isn't their premier guy, its become Lee Evans. So match up 31 on 83, and have our 37 on their 81.

I'd love to see us run the table but let's get real here. We've beat a couple teams that we should be beating. At the beginning of the season these are games we would have out in the "give me" column and now we're all giddy because we beat a couple easy win teams and we let them score more than we should have while doing it.

We're still #31 on total defense, #32 a against the pass, #32 points allowed and where we were at our strongest at the beginning of the year, which was stopping the run, we've free fallen to #18. It's nice to dream but even if a miracle does occur and we go 10-6 and we get into the playoffs I seriously doubt we'd be ready to cause much damage once we do get there. I'm all for it if it happens I'm just trying be a realist here. The Bills should be another "easy win" team. But if we lose one more I say start playing some rookies, find out what we got in the future so to speak and let them get some valuable experience, go 6-10 and get a decent pick.
