The Titans' O is starting to come into their own. VY passing for 387 yds (WHAT!?) adds a new, BIG wrinkle into what the Indy D is going to have to prepare for. How do you stop CJ rushing, VY scrambling, option plays, and now legitimate passing attack all at the same time? Answer is: you don't. Patience and TOUCHDOWNS will win this game. Let Indy have all the long drives capped by FGs.

The Titans have 3 things going for them:

    • They just came off a great win
    • If there is one team that has the Colt's number, it has been us
    • The Colts are due for a loss, and they are beat up

I believe that this can happen if......

    • We can get pressure on Manning (smaller O line that the cards)
    • Use deception, such as the offensive reverse shift we used twice on the Texans
    • CJ can get to the outside
    • Special teams can remember how to tackle

Theres no doubt we can win this game. But I think there are a few key things that we NEED to accomplish to win.

-FIELD POSITION !!! Our ST is going to have to find a way to step it up. If we spot Payton Manning the 45yrd line every drive its going to be a long game !!

-Pressure from front 4. Peyton..like most qbs..are a different quarterback when they consistently have pressure in their face. Thats always been the key to facing the colts. Payton usually has ALL DAY to throw the football..u can take a guy off the street and they'll be able to complete a pass if given as much time as Payton usually has to throw the ball. We definitely need to disrupt his rhythm

-Turnovers. If the defense can create a turnover or 2 that would help out tremendously

It was a tale of 2 halves yesterday. We were just fortunate enough to have one big run from CJ, and the big drive lead to points.

I always say be weary of division games and we still have nothing to lose. They're trying to shore up the division ASAP. We have a good shot at making them play 1 more week, and I think we'll be rewarded for the trouble with another win.

I agree, if you blitz Manning very often he will pick you apart. I think the Titans will pull it off, the 99 yard drive to win yesterday will go a long way with building VY and the recievers confidence up. And plus the Colts really have nothing left to play for except home field, which they have a 3 game lead on the rest of the AFC for.

first pony offensive play make Gayton breath snot bubbles - only costs 15 yards and I can't think of any other reason to have a Donnie Nickey on the team if it isn't too headhunt Gayton

Tennessee will have a tough game, but I feel Indy has the 12-0 to fight for, is it worth it? They are one tough team, and for us to win this game, we have to take away the screen pass and short slants. If we blitz, it should be switching the sides, and not always up the middle. Have our CB's play close, because Manning always hits the slants and that burns us up. Especially their TE on delays. He blocks then comes up the middle for a 1st down play. We can do this. We control our destiny from here on out.
