I still wouldn't mind us drafting a corner. I wouldn't mind Milliner. I'd love Banks if he dropped, and I absolutely love Jamar Taylor's game, though he has been kinda injury prone.

I just think Coty is someone that really deserves a full look.

Mid round paired with Quinton Jammer would be perfect for us. Jammer wouldnt cost much as an older vet and is known to be one of the best zone cb in the league. perfect for the type of D we play. A player like the honey badger with one of our 3rds and we are set a CB for a while.

I wanted Brent Grimes, but it looks like the Falcons will try to resign him now after the Robinson release.

If we won't sign a decent younger CB, I don't see any mid round CB coming to Nashville and making a believer out of anyone.

Brent Grimes is one of the most underrated corners in the league. I hoped they would be dumb enough to release him.

They didn't have to release him. Grimes will be an UFA, but by releasing Turner, Robinson, and Abe they will have enough money to resign Grimes.

We wouldn't be having this discussion if our FO could've passed on drafting Scott Solomon in favor of signing Asante Samuel to a 3 year/$18M deal.

Classic Titans! 7th round pick for the guy with the most INTs in the league over the last decade? No!

And I know some of you guys hate on him for his tackling, but he's still a great CB either way. Is it a coincidence that the Falcons had their best season ever when Asante joined? How've the Pats and Eagles been without him?

    I rest my case.

I actually really like our starters in ATV and JMAC. When in base D, when the line was even kinda alive and over-the-top help wasn't a mile away, they did play really well.

People forget, a lotta times last year we'd go long stretches without getting any form pressure, and safeties playing the hail marry - I mean, how can you look good on the outside?

Anyway back to the topic, in today's NFL its almost like the 'base D' of 4-3 teams the nickel - so many 3WR sets and all. So you def need 3 good CBs, no doubt (especially when you factor in injuries).

I already said this before, I think ATV could be excellent moving inside on nickel. He might actually be an even better tackler then Finnegan was in terms of technique and bringing down the ball carrier. And, he also shows pretty good hit power when he could. Finny hit harder, but ATV hits smarter.

Coty actually didn't do much to really impress me, he was OK.

Someone said Cambell. I'd actually like to see what Tommie can do, he looked pretty good that last game when they put him in. He got a nice tip and looks like he can be pretty physical on the outside. I do however worry about his consistency on the backside and the many penalties I think he could draw.

I'd like to get someone more experienced and move ATV inside on those nickel plays. That would be my ideal situation.

And if we don't, F it, I'd gamble with Tommie. I also didn't like how they kept reporting we'd see it, and the only time we actually did was like the end of the very last game...

relying on our corners to be great tacklers is where we started to fail as a franchise.
