    I don't like him. He can't cover and he doesn't know how to tackle. He's not someone we can immediately plug in and rely on. We need a real safety first before we pick up a head hunter. we don't have anyone who can cover or tackle right now. We need a solid somewhat proven safety. That's what free agency is for.

    I rather have a proven safety too but if we don't sign one Elam is right up there on my list.
