Receiver Kendall Wright leads the team in receptions (54), and he’s on pace to be one of the franchise’s most successful rookie receivers ever.

Last week against the Texans, Wright had a team-high six catches for 78 yards. There’s no doubt the first round pick out of Baylor is on the right track.

Wright felt like he let quarterback Jake Locker down in that game, though, because he dropped two passes.

“It’s not OK to drop the ball,’’ Wright said. “We have to catch the ball, and you build confidence with your quarterback by catching the football. The quarterback doesn’t want to throw the ball to someone who’s going to keep dropping it constantly.”

Titans coaches counted eight dropped passes against the Texans.

Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains called it a lack of concentration. He hopes to see a better improvement across the board in Sunday’s game against the Colts.

“We all know they can (catch), they just need to do it and concentrate and focus,’’ Loggains. “And when they get the opportunity, make those plays.”

Our WR's have been drive killers lately, all of them.

He is right. Drops are killer. We do not need a Braylon Edwards here. Good too see he is taking responsability. And good that he knows because...............

Gotta like Kendall Wright. With him, I actually think he will work to correct this issue ... I can't say that I think the same for Britt/Cook. They will probably just complain that they aren't getting the ball enough.

I think WRight will grow into being a good leader for this team over the next few years. I love his attitude about everything so far, and for a rookie WR, he has been very good.

He is pretty good. He needs to improve his running on screen plays as he can't seem to wait for blocks to develop; he's only going to get better though. He might get a few taunting calls, he really enjoys shoving it on the defenders faces!

He certainly has to work on dropped passes but to think he could likely finish his rookie season with 70 catches...wow
