The only reason I don't want any coach fired right now is I don't want to promote from within, risking they'd stay for next year. Let's just clean house at season's end and hire outside guys.

And I've been just as critical about Bud as the next guy, but anyone upset at him for doing this is delusional or just a hater. I'm very happy Bud released this statement... It's unacceptable.

Can people actually read the article? They are looking at where they could work AFTER the season is over. That's not cowardly or quitting that's just self preservation. I'm sure every coach on a horrible team is doing the same thing.

Doesn't mean they are not going to work hard these last 7 games.

 

And why are people talking about CJ leaving? He has been playing at an elite level.

And the $10M compensation for next year is not a lump sum or bonus it is mostly salary. He made $8M this year. 2 years ago when he signed his deal he got a $20M SB.

They made a commitment to him so why stop paying him now when he is having his best year since 2009?
