George played for **** in dallas, hell he didn't really play much, just collected a check. Mason, played well but he wanted out to move to Baltimore...because, his words, not mine, "it is a better place for my familty", Kearse played for **** in philly, those fans hated him, but they hate Santa also..., rolle played ok, finnigan, I don't blame them for not paying 50 million for a nickle back, you can't cover in today's NFL so why pay for a shut down corner. McNair, that was planned by Bus Cook, McNair's agent from the get go, they had a 50 million bonus that the Titans were never going to pay. Besides, he played only one decent season in baltimore and that was pretty much "check down charley" stats.

We might see a huge bidding war between 3 teams this off season for Payton.

One being New Orleans, for obvious reasons, and I do not think they keep up, but he may go back.

Two being Dallas, because he lives in Dallas and Jones will drop tons of money.

And three being us, because he is likely the best candidate and it is looking like Bud is not wanting to screw around anymore. The best years of his life are over and he really doesn't need to hold onto his money anymore. I suspect a big push for Payton this off season.

I would love to see someone reach out to Jimmy Johnson to serve as an advisor (just like Tuna did in Miami). Let him evaluate the team and interview coaching candidates. I know that Jimmy would never leave the Fox Football Set, but bring him in to consult from March until final cuts. Then, he can go back to the Fox set by the start of the season.

You must not have read Bud's actual comments he said he is putting them "on notice" for the next 7 games.

In other words you can keep your jobs by turning this thing around.

“In my 50 years of owning an NFL franchise, I am at a loss to recall a regular-season home game that was such a disappointment for myself and fans of the Titans,’’ Adams told The Tennessean. “We were grossly outcoached and outplayed from start to finish today.

“At this time, all aspects of the organization will be closely evaluated, including front office, coaches and players, over the next seven games. If performance and competitiveness does not improve, I will look at all alternatives to get back to having the Titans become a playoff and championship football team.”

How could anybody be critical of what Bud said? He said exactly what he needed to say. This is unacceptable and your a$$es are gone if things don't change.

    Good for him!

I inferred that Reinfeldt and RW weren't safe either. Dumb and dumber share an equal part of the blame in this situation. Our OL and DL are in the state they are in due to their monkey business extending Amano, passing on DeCastro and Konz and that's not even considering their inability to gain a quality OL FA other than Crutchinson. They need to go.

The players were already checking out on Gray and Palmer 3 games into the season. They started checking out on Munchak after game 5 because he wasn't demonstrating a demand for accountability IMO. I do believe we talent on the roster to be a 8-10 win squad but not with the schemes we're running on offense and there is no hope for Gray's D.

Bud said what had to be said to keep hope alive in the paying fans. He saw the mass exodus of wallets at the stadium yesterday and knows what portends. Hope is a great money maker for a crappy team and nothing spurs hope like change.

Wow the thing Bud needs to realize is it wasn't just the Chicago game but numerous teams this season have beaten us by double digit margins. This team hasn't even been competitive with a few single digit losses but we are talking twenty or thirty point differences. Our defense is by far the worst in the league and one of the worst ever.It isn't just defense but offense also so they need to re-evaluate this whole team top to bottom both players and coaches.Bud needs to realize if he buys cheap then he shouldn't expect much and that happened with Munchak. We need a real coach and coaching staff here and that will cost some big money. The question is this. Will Bud do what it takes and spend top dollar to turn this team around? He was willing to spend big on Peyton Manning so why not spend big on a new coach and coaching staff. If he keeps hiring from within the organization we most likely won't get anywhere and it'll be the same as Munchak. For once he will need to go outside the team to find the right people to run the team.As far as Munchak goes put a fork in him and his staff they are in over their heads. We do have talent here and some really good players they just need the proper coaching and the right staff to get them going in the right direction.

I want Griffin gone, outside of his ATROCIOUS gameplay, his attitude in the locker room is the exact opposite of a pro bowl safety, a player who was just tagged and received a huge contract, and a vet.

His attitude is toxic to those around him and he needs to be dumped before it spreads to anyone else. If we have to replace him with Tank Williams I would be all for it. I don't care how Williams is these days, Griffin has to go. Just slides the blame onto something else.

    I hope he reads this.......

Griffin you suck, and embody everything that has been wrong with this franchise the past 7 years.

Mistakes have been made ever since Fisher left that should've never happened. One is that we should've focused more on finding a better coach instead of settling for someone inside the organization. There were some good candidates for coaching jobs but that was ignored and we went within the organization.Another mistake was this offseason putting all our eggs in one basket chasing after Manning instead of bringing in better free agents. All these mistakes are clearly on Bud Adams shoulders and the reason we haven't done well.

What gets me more is the lack of any real surprise in the media that the Tennessee Titans got dicked at home by that score.. none.. And that says it all. Griff tweeting his own stats, Cook wanting a trade.. Munch and the coaches have lost the locker room
