He had a crush on VY. His bad. But at the end of the day he did the right thing and got rid of him and Fisher. I maintain that if his team was winning games he wouldn't interfere. Manning was the exception because, well it was Peyton Manning. He wasn't the only owner that had QBs already in place that jumped on him.

The Peyton Manning fiasco in the offseason tied the hands of the front office to fill the holes in the offensive and defensive lines and in the secondary. The blame for that falls squarely on Bud Adams. He should blame himself at least partially for the team's failure to upgrade the talent. Mr. Adams needs to either trust the people he hired to run the front office or hire people he will trust. I believe Mr.Adams when he says he wants to win a championship, but it's time to deliver.

The failed offensive and defensive schemes, poor fundamentals, and the lack of attention to detail, lack of discipline, and lack of accountability on this team are the result of poor coaching. If the current coaching staff is not able to resolve these issues, they need to be replaced, either in whole or in part. I'm rooting for Coach Munchak and staff because I believe they're good people, but if they can't do the job they need to go.

The poor execution, mental and physical mistakes, and stupid penalties are the fault of the players. If they don't improve in these areas, they need to be on the bench until they can iimprove or be replaced by players who can do the job. Most people who are in business fire people who don't do their job. It's time for the fromt office to do something about it.

As a lifelong Oilers/Titans fan, I for one am tired of excuses. I love this team and want it to be successful. I look forward to every season with great anticipation and excitement. I would like to see them win at least one championship in my lifetime and I don't think that's too much to ask. When is this organization going to get a sense of urgency and make the money we spend on tickets and merchandise worth its value?

I am pretty sure Munch, Palmer and Gray all lost their jobs today. Bud probably spent that 2 hour plane ride trying to decide how to best handle the situation. Even if he fired them today and stuck some position coaches as interms... how much worse could it really be? Our season was ended last week and today just affirmed that.

Totally agree. Well said. I don't think he was really putting anyone on notice. I think he said they're gone.

If he did can the big three, who would run things? I know he won't, and don't believe we should, but if he did I not sure who would even be a placeholder. Changes will come in the offseason.

It is nice to finally see Morgan starting to come on, I've got my fingers crossed that this trend continues but I think we have some pretty good talent on defense that a few more pieces and a really good DC could have us a feared D once again....not a week in and week out embarrassment!

And I'm glad old Bud is just as disgusted as the rest of us fans, hopefully he'll finally make some serious changes that will finally right this ship!

I have no problem with that. We know there is a problem. Munchak has about as many answers as one of those shaky fortune 8 balls. I hope we start cleaning house today.

Maybe if Gray and Palmer wore those wrist bands with the plays on them like Hasselbeck it would help play calling.

I wonder what it would take to get a coach here? Bring in Perry Fewell for an interview.. What I worry about most is Bud Adams pulling a Bud Adams and bringing in Wade Phillips as HC

Yep. I think the "no one good wants to coach here" line is beyond lame. The NFL is the pinnacle of football. And there are 32 head coaching jobs within it. And there are typically a handful or less available in any given year. Not many guys are passing up an NFL head coaching job, assuming they're looking for one. Sure, perhaps a big time name like Cowher would pass. But it's not as if the only quality coaches are huge names.

Mike McCarthy. Sean Payton. Mike Tomlin. All guys I'd barely even heard of when they were hired. All have rings.

This FO did not conduct a thorough and legitimate search for its next head coach. And as we can all see we're currently paying the price.
