Not a Fisher fan at all, but Alge was a huge part of CJ's running.

Although initially I was pretty mad about the the Cook situation, the fact is the running game has gotten better when Cook plays less.

    Maybe coincidence but maybe not.

I think the Titans offense lacks an identity because of how Palmer is calling plays and mixing personnel groupings. If we want to be a throw first team then spread them out and throw it all around the yard. Keep you best WRs on the field for more than 2 plays at a time. When you have a key 3rd and long and Britt, Washington, and Cook are replaced by Williams, Hawkins, and Thompson then you have a problem. We need to stick with a few bread and butter packages/plays and let Hasselbeck find the matchup problem.

I don't think Cook is going anywhere this year, but if he does Cleveland is his new home.

We did that same sh*t during the Fisher era.

It really is puzzling...remember the year with Randy Moss, and even if he was washed up, there was a game (against Miami I think) where we were down a score with no time left, at the 50 and had one shot at a hail mary and Fisher pulls Moss off the field...hail mary and you decide to take out Moss...for the likes of Lavelle Hawkins. Decisions like that are impossible to comprehend.

This morning on the Zone Frank Wycheck and Mark Howard were kind of talking about the situation with Cook. The gist of their conversation was that or OC's are nonflexible and only want to exectue their schemes instead of making adjustments and working on plays that actually fit the players that we have. They were stating that Belichek will change and adapt and invent plays that utilize his players abilities instead of being set in his ways and making them try schemes that don't suit them.

Just another reason out of many, as to why we need coaching changes before player changes. If we lose Cook, but keep MM, Grey and Palmer I'll lose my ****. This team is making it very difficult to remain a Titans fan, that's for sure.
