Titans receive Jared Cook trade request

I'm just saying... it's a typical Titans move.

Franchise Griffin and sign him to long-term deal (4th highest paid safety in the league); Let Finnegan walk.

 

It's not as cut and dry as you make it seem. It was smart extending Griffin, he's not going to see those final years of that deal. We saved money by not franchising him.

I mean yes he sucks, but he sucks less than most bad players, and this past spring we had nothing but bad players to choose from.

 

Rob Gronkowski. That is who the Patriots took with the pick we gave up for Jared Cook.

 

Depends on what we can get for Cook but I'm about done with this franchise if we keep heading this way. I have been a fan of this team since the start and maybe was just blind / ignorant towards the front office originally but recently they have destroyed our team and my desire to even watch football. Really just venting but this is ridiculous. Also I quoted the post above because I haven't heard anything about Britt and Washington storming out of the locker room would make sense though...

 

I just do not understand why we do not use him as a down the field threat more. I see Hawkins and williams out there to much. He has the size and the speed to play wr or te and he is productive and has big play potential every play. But we would drather use hawk, williams, and stevens. I see why he is frustrated and wants out.

 

I can guarantee you 100% that Cook would look just as good as Gronk with Brady throwing him the ball.

He's emerged as a top 5 TE this year, but no one would know it because we don't use him enough. He's always open and catches everything. Give him more targets!

Cook has every right to be upset right now... hopefully his complaints are heard. We need to approach this situation by giving him a big contract and tell him he's our best weapon in the passing game.

Lock him up, Titans! If you trade him, you're retarded and I'll never forgive you until we find a TE who's the best in the league.

 

I was thinking it'd be nice to get another interior lineman if a trade is in the works. We've probably got some turnover coming there in the next few years. But D-Line would be nice too given the amount of rushing teams are putting on us.

 

How sure are you about this? I have asked around and you're the only person that is saying this.
