Titans Are Done for This Year...

Don't get me wrong. It's scary, but these kind of problems wouldn't be acceptable on other teams. For some reason it's ok here. I think you have to look at the organization as a whole when it's this bad.

 

How is not being a playoff team for a forth year going to help us? Being a good team starts with knowing how to win. We can get that going now as apposed to later, thats what will help us. Not getting a high draft pick who could end up being hurt half the time.. This is a good enough group to win a lot of games. Pass rush needs work, but other than that and shotty tackling, our defense is alright.

If we do as you'd like, we'll end up having this same talk year after year after year.

There's like a whole bunch of fans thats for some reason believe sucking and getting a high draft pick makes you better, but why? Our problems aren't players really.

 

Thats not all that bad. 9 wins can get you in a lot of times.

 

Nailed it IMO. We're more than likely going to pick in the top 8 as it is. Sorry but teams like the Chiefs, Jags, Browns and Panthers have a lot more personel problems than we do. I sound like a broken record but we don't have the staff to pull it together. Been saying it since last year. The 9-7 record didn't fool me as it shouldn't have fooled most people. A number one overall pick won't do anything for us because we don't need a QB. The only way I am ok with picking first is if we sell it for a kings ransom.

 

I don't advocate losing just to get a high draft pick, but I do see the possibility of that happening.

 

Barrett Jones or bust.

If we don't draft Barrett Jones, then our FO is as f'ing retarded as I think they are.

I mean seriously, we have an Oline coach and Jones is without a doubt one of the best Oline players ever in college football. After this year the dude will have three NC rings playing three different positions on the Oline.

 

As much as center is a problem on this team, pass rusher is by far the biggest concern. How bout we grab best pass rusher in the 1st, then the best center in the 2nd... fair?

 

since were going to be picking pretty high we may have a shot at a good pass rusher and a good o lineman

 

As long as we pick up Jones somewhere I'll be happy.
