There is absolutely no way we'll make the playoffs if the defense doesn't improve even if CJ2K is "back".

 

If we're going to beat the Colts we have to get to Luck early like Scarecrow posted but the problem is we never freaking blitz and we're just going to sit back in freaking zone and Luck is going to drive down the field and when Luck gets his confidence up in the game it's pretty much over because we've seen what he can do already. We have to bring the blitz more, for the life of me I don't understand why we're not doing this more often.

Offense we're fine, not worried. I have faith in Hass/Locker, CJ looks good, WR's are doing better, OL is finally waking up. We just have to actually play some defense for once. Oh and I've seen "we have to teach them to tackle" a lot and I'm guilty of this as well but the problem is they know how to tackle they're just not doing it. Every defensive player in the NFL knows how to tackle or they wouldn't have made it this far we're just not a physical team like we used to be and something has to be done about it because this is pathetic.

 

We blitzed on the final play of the game... and look how well it worked. Pressure on Fitzpatrick and incomplete pass to end the game. If only we could do it more.

Just rush five 50% of the time and six every now and then. That's not asking too much. There's almost no reason not to be blitzing more since we allow 34 points per game.

 

The Steelers have put up more than 20 on quite a few teams this season.

The Titans are 3 out of 3 with regards to wins that almost gave me (multiple) heart attacks.

 

Our defense has to improve. If only the first or second guy makes the tackle, we're improved a big deal. Yesterday it was the 5th and 6th guy that made the tackle and only if they were tag-teaming. It was abysmal.

 

Live in the UK, and I hate to say it, but I gave up on the Titans last night when we were down 34-28 so switched the computer off.. We only get one live TV game on a Sunday (Texans) and score updates..etc
Late on decided to look on the Forum then just thought I'd see what happened by reading the last few pages of the Game Thread, hilarious seeing defence slagged off then we got the INT.. how Nate was slagged off- then got the winning TD..
