Ok. Lets ask the tough question. Who has decided to quit supporting this team with their money? And I mean dumping PSLs, selling tix or just not going, no concessions, jersey purchases etc.

I've struggled for years now spending a lot of much money on this poorly managed team. I'm particularly displeased with mike reinfeldt and Ruston Webster, the lack of a "true" hiring process to replace fisher, and the complete lack of accountability this organization fosters. I'm also fed up with our owner always looking for the "cheap" way to run the operation.

I deserve better for the money I spend. It is particularly painful to support this crap-fest when I see other owners and organizations operating under a mantra of QUALITY. We all can identify those organizations- they have Super Bowl wins, some multiple, some about to get their first.

So my poll question is "are you through spending money on this team? If not, comment why not or what your threshold to do so is.

I am, until they at least show some positive effort on the field. I don't expect them to win every game, or even most of them, but it's getting damb hard to watch a team who's mailed it in halfway through the 3rd quarter.

With the talent on this team, they have the ability to at least keep it close, which so far, they have not. It seems like to me the main fault here is in coaching and playcalling, as evidenced by the aforementioned lack of effort by the team. I'm far from a football expert, but until they get their act together there's no way I'm wasting money and time to go to a game and be subjected to any more of this in person when I can just as easily be disappointed at home for free.

I am beginning to think this team is becoming dysfunctional from ownership down to player. I have tried to think how long it has been since we have had a team that year to year was really competitive and a threat in the division. I try to figure out how we could have fought to be a 9-7 team last year and now look like we are clueless. I still dont know how the team fought and played the way they did to win the Lions game yet look like everyone has a different playbook every other game.

I watch opposing defenses play zone...and our WRs cannot seem to find the open spots to save their lives...its like they run the route they have memorized regardless of what the D gives them. Opponents eat our zone up like its flag football...its frustrating to watch.

And...I see no fire. I see opposing running backs run through our guys...running like they are going to tear a leg off to get that last half yard and I see CJ run until someone gets close and its like he just closes down. I still believe Reynaud would be a difference in the backfield...maybe.

But...this team has been on a stale path for way too long. I watch the Texans each year add a player that now adds up to an amazing team. Plus they have made smart coaching moves as well. Phillips has done wonders for that team. Jerry Gray I think may be in over his head.

I will continue to go and painfully watch the team...I will put up with more and more fans in our section selling out to opposing fans. I imagine Thursday night there will be as many Steelers fans around me as Titans fans...which never used to happen.

It sux...but I guess if the Bengals could eventually crawl out of that pit of mediocrity then I can hope the Titans can. Right now we own that pit...like a boss....

Call me the eternal optimist but I remain hopeful the Titans can find some answers and finish strong. Though we are experiencing dark times now, I don't see ending my investment in this franchise anytime soon.

Take away the tailgates and I might change my mind. :brow:

well.. I go to some games, but buy from scalpers, which equals out to roughly zero dollars for the franchise. (I know that someone paid for them at some point, but you catch my drift) But it doesn't matter to them if my one thru four tickets remain sold or unsold, they're still paid either way.
I buy fake chinese jerseys, zero dollars for the franchise. So it's fair to say, I'm pretty much a leech. Maybe if they priced their jerseys reasonably... like 40 or 50 dollars, I'd consider buying again.

Our dollars our only voice that Bud et al will hear.

I can definitely say this year I'm dumping my PSL's unless there is a complete overhaul of the culture. That means coaches, game-day experience, maybe stadium, winning or at least losing tough. I'll just buy a ticket(s) to the good games.

The Texans are a model to follow- great stadium, great FA pickups, great moves releasing players, great drafting. Steeler, Pats, Colts also. Eagles rocky but better than we are. I love how the Giants operate their organization. We are down with the Jaguars in crap city.

I'm not done cheering for this team but I also dont spend like some of you do. I'm not a psl holder nor do I attend every game. I can see where those of you that spend hundreds of dollars a seat per year would feel this way but this is still Tennessee's team. I can always hope the light comes on for this young team.

The best way to see improvements is to still go to the games, and to boo the crap out of the team when they start sucking. You don't want Bud to pass away and the team to possibly be moved because tickets aren't being sold do you?

They may have just renovated LP Field some, but that doesn't convince me the team is staying for ever. How much of that money did the team even pay for? Weren't tickets raised a few bucks the past 2 years to make that money? That new giant screen is the fans, so go watch your giant TV at LP Field and let them know you wont stand for any more mediocrity. If it gets ugly quick, ask them to change the game to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Still have to support the team, but no one has to sit around and let a few fools ruin the Tennessee Titans for all of us.

I'm done. I only go to a few games a year anyway though. I really feel bad for you guys that are blowing large sums of hard-earned money on PSLs/season tix and getting this pathetic product in return. As well as the ungodly amount spent on parking, pre-gaming, concessions, etc. 8+ times a year. At least I get to pick and choose when I want to flush my money down the toilet.

As I said in another thread, I wouldn't go to another game this season even if given the tickets. I don't feel this franchise is even worth my beer money at the moment. I'll gladly watch from the comfort of my couch, on my HDTV (COMPLETE WITH DOWN AND DISTANCE!), while drinking reasonably priced microbrews and eating my wife's excellent food.

We used to always want season tickets but were never able to justify them financially. These past few years we've been able to afford them but now I just can't justify "blowing" that much money on them. I can think of about 100 better and more rewarding things to do with that money.

I doubt that would happen. This fanbase has shown that they can be among the most supportive in the entire NFL, even through the tough times. A new owner would likely know this and realize that the product has been crap for years. And it took A LOT for people to finally give up on them. And that they could easily be won back with a quality product. Moving a team costs a lot of time/money/effort. All things that billionaires typically don't want to part with.
