If you overlook all those great plays that Watt made, Leroy did a fantastic job.

Titans guard Leroy Harris drew plenty of attention on Sunday, when – after surrendering a pair of sacks to Texans defensive end J.J. Watt – he said “(Watt) is not anything special; he is just persistent at what he does, and if you use bad technique he’ll exploit it.”

Harris went on to say that outside of the two sacks, he locked Watt down for most of the game.

Titans coach Mike Munchak came to the defense of his starting right guard on Monday, saying he, too, believed Harris had a good afternoon: “He did well. He got beat for (two sacks). (Watt) got around him. Overall, I thought he played well. But again, we (gave up) four sacks and three of them were guys getting beat one-on-one, which we don’t have happen very often.”

Munchak, a Hall of Fame guard and former offensive line coach, said sometimes too much could be made of a play or two when it comes to grading offensive linemen.

“That’s the life of an NFL lineman because that’s what people watching the game see,” Munchak said. “(Watt’s) a good football player. We know that. But you don’t see the rest of the game when he’s being locked out maybe another 20 times. You get a sack? All you hear about is the guy who got the sack. What did he do the other 60 plays?

“You have to be able to do your job and you have to do it on every play. It’s not like baseball, where 3-out-of-10 and you’re a great hitter. In football, the o-line has to be 100 percent, or hopefully, the times you get beat, the ball’s already out.”

Yea, take away those two picks and Hass also had a good day.

Take away the drops and Wright had a good day.

Take away the missed tackles and Griffin had a good day.

We almost won that game guys.....

I dont think he shut him down I don't remember Harris ever shutting anyone down. Velasco played well last week against Detroit though, but I wish he played well all the time. I still don't understand how our offensive line could be so bad with two hall of fame lineman coaching the team!
