Jake made some outstanding throws. He was throwing the ball to a location and was amazingly accurate in both location and timing. If it's a sign of things to come, the future looks bright.

Sure, he has a lot to learn. I think next week will be a big test for him.

And more importantly, he's completely 64 percent of his passes, with our best receiver in limited action.

Other than 1 or 2 throws, Locker was on the money all game.

I just re-watched the game and feel that Locker had even a better game than I originally thought.

Up to the fumble (which was his only major mistake in the game), he was pinpoint accurate rolling out or in the pocket. His mechanics were solid. I counted three bad passes the entire first half. He had a few inaccurate passes the second half but was clutch in putting the ball in a location.

I'd like to see more redzone opportunities end up as TDs but he made a major step yesterday.

If he can keep giving us those kinds of games, I think we have a franchise QB in the making.

Found a Locker jersey (away white) today for $14.99! You know I snatched that up.

I meant to post this yesterday, but I walked away and left it sitting.

Almost 70% completion percentage for Locker. If he can be accurate and cut the mistakes some more, he can be really special.

I think some of my fellow posters said it better, though. To TJ's point, I remember three dirt throws consecutively last week, plus a couple of other turds back to back. But he shook it off, and played like he belonged yesterday. I thought it was a great performance overall, especially relative to his experience.

Lets not forget the clutch drive in OT. He just saw the lions score 2 tds in 18 sec and it didn't even phase him.

That's probably the biggest sign right there of what makes him different from our old #10. Locker has intestinal fortitude out the wazoo.

Locker is better than Gabbert I'll give you all that much. Not ready to crown him after picking apart what has been a pretty bad Lions team.
