Do you still think it was a good idea to sign McCourty long term?

Guys, lets not forget how long the defense was on the field. This is on the offense. We couldnt stay on third down on offense. We were 1-9. The run game isnt working. the team isnt playing well. CHRIS PALMER cannot call a game at all. This team has firepower, use it. This soft play calling on both sides is killing us. It seems we never make adjustments. Mccourty is a good corner, but like any corner, if u have no pass rush u arent going to do well in coverage. Play soft sone isnt going to work against elite QBs. You have to rush em. We didnt do that. Griffin and Mccpurty are ballers. Both are very good when they arent tired and playin a weak zone. If u want to blame someone , blame the coaching. Its been VERY SOFT these two games. We have a good ass team and coaching is killing us. Blame them.

It's bad when a safety has 18 tackles in a game.

You know... We throw alot of blame at griffin, but I think we have to throw some of the blame at Gray. For some reason, he has a thing about playing people out of position and it's killing us. (Remember Jason's Jones Defensive end experiment or Cortland's nickel corner) Griffin is playing out of position and Johnson is playing to deep. The tight ends killed us because Griffin has too much space to cover, because there really wasn't any help over top. Our Safety play wasn't great last year, but it was better then this. They need to move Babs back into the starting lineup and move Griffin back to his natural position. I don't even remember seeing Robert Johnson last night.

I saw Frank Gore getting toss sweep after toss sweep served up to him. I just don't understand why we refuse to get CJ on the edge quickly. Sure you can't run standard play action, but you certainly can run sweep action and have Locker bootleg out the back door.

The standard plays aren't working so try something different....

It's always been the Titans mantra to keep things in front of them, which means playing waaay way off the Line of scrimmage. We could have Eric Berry or Troy Polumalu, and we'd still more than likely play the same defense.

It could be more Gray than Griffin, but too soon to say. 2 games isn't big enough of a sample size to point to the coordinators.

Well, I can definitely say that I did not approve of the amount of money we gave McCourty.

Illogical to let Finnegan walk if you're going to pay Griffin and McCourty so much.

Everytime a FB comes in the game the opposing defense knows we are running it. Yesterday we went like 20 plays straight not running it and then all of a sudden here comes a fb in for the first time. Wtf do you think the play was? A run which the defense sniffed out somehow lol

Yes this is a big issue we've had for 2+ years. It used to be Cook coming in who tipped defenses off as to what we were doing, now it's Quinn Johnson.

When Stevens comes in at FB it's a little less obvious, maybe we move to have him there full-time...
