Well what do you expect ... the Titans never get any love, and the Pats get it all.

I really wasn't all that impressed with Brady/Pats passing game. Brady missed on a few passes that would have been for big gains, and I saw some drops as well. The D held him to under 250, and 2 TDs which is just an average game especially for someone like Brady and the Pats. Sure isn't dynamic.

Really though, if Locker doesn't get blind sided and fumble the ball in the endzone, then Pats only score 27. If we get the PA in the endzone on the 1st drive we have 17. Not enough to win, but its close, and might give us more momentum/confidence to make it close at the end. We certainly weren't manhandled ... just made mistakes at inopportune times (young team, what do you expect)

Locker put up very respectable numbers. Nearly same yards as Brady (and he missed the last few drives of the game) And looked good outside of a few plays. LOL at the author for the "less than 10 yards per completion" comment. Locker averaged 9.95 yards per completion. Brady averaged 10.26 yards per completion. That 0.3 yards per completion is such a HUGE difference ... NOT.

Now where the Pats really won the game wasn't in the QB battle, it was the RB battle. They ran at will, we could not run at all. That was the real difference.

So locker didnt average 10 yards a pass completion. Tom brady and manning have never averaged that in a season. the guy is a complete idiot

No one should be surprised at where we rank. That being said, writer didnt watch the game.

The Pats new and improved D made Locker one-dimensional early on by shutting down our run game completely, yet Locker still had solid stats and did a good job overall. I think in order for us to even be in playoff contention Jake is gonna have to be a true dual threat, and I don't mean by running QB draws that get called back for holding, but roll outs and bootlegs so we can use his athleticism to the fullest extent. Dude's a baller, just needs more gametime experience and in time I'm sure he'll feel more comfortable running in the NFL.

The writer can SUCK IT (once he's done with Tom Brady, obviously)

I think most teams can stop a run game or make it ineffective. The problem is can they stop it and prevent the other team from winning with the passing game? If , or when the Titans improve the passing game then stacking the line will be useless. I believe this will happen soon.

And of course we need that offensive line to show up. With such lackluster play the offensive line players probably have to walk backwards to pick up their check, to make sure no one is watching to embarrass them for accepting money for what little they have done.

You can take it a bit further...

These are all what-ifs, but if Jake, Nate, and McCarthy didn't get hurt, this is a close game. We gave them a field goal at the end when Hasselbeck was in and we decided to go for it on 4th down deep in our own territory. I was wanting us to punt it so the score wouldn't be as lopsided and I could have, at least, predicted the Patriots score correctly (31).

Anyways... If they call that PI and McCarthy, Nate, and Jake go without getting hurt, I believe it ends up a one score game as I originally predicted (31-24). I actually think that would've been the exact score if the refs made the right call and our impact players didn't get hurt.
