Madden 13

Just got the game. Haven't owned a Madden since like 06. Holy crap, the Titans defensive line gets no penetration ever.

Is there like a GoTitans online league I can join or something? I'm pretty out of the loop, but I played some games tonight and I'm still decent at the game. I played a crapload when I was in school and most of it is still the same.

 

What's better? NCAA Football 2013 or Madden 2013

 

Our d line has been dominating for me, i can't think of a game where i havent got at least a couple sacks.

I've been having a major problem thowing deep though, no matter how much of a lead my wr has, the db always makes some crazy leap and picks the ball off behind him

 

You guys must be playing on an easy difficulty.

On all-pro I get maybe 2 presures a game.

On All-Madden Casey stays locked up the whole play, and Klug is lucky if he goes 1/4 plays without being knocked on his ass.

 

Maybe they're controlling a d-lineman?

I've never found user-controlling d-linemen to be effective enough, so I generally stick to controlling the MLB or a safety. If I play the Lions, Cardinals, or a team with an elite WR who my opponent passes to all the time, I'll control the CB.

 

The thing I find useful controlling d lineman is find the timing of the passes over the middle and try to jump up and tip the ball. Hardly do I find I'm able to get more pressure.

 

I play all pro and control the middle linebacker, but will take over for a lineman if he is getting close or i think i can shed the block quick. I think my worst game sack wise was like 2

 

Madden10 and older versions made it easy to control DLinemen. Since those Maddens its gotten tougher

Picked it up today.

Played one game so far.

Throttled the Panthers 48-14 on All-Pro.

Locker: 500+ yards 5 TDs

The passing game seems easier. Zone coverage is a joke. Cover 3 and cover 2 are broken. Four WR Shotgun, run four verts. Read the safeties, instant 20+ yards.

Going to get back on it tomorrow.
Running the ball is more fun now, I just hate running the ball.

Some of the ratings are jacked.

McCarthy was hosed.
Bump up Locker's speed to an 86.
Wright 92 speed??? Not complaining
Browns's speed is too low.
