Ill tell you this. CJ is not playing like he did last year. He was putting his head and trying rather than falling down. When he has a hole, he's looked explosive this preseason.

Still tired of watching CJ run toward the sideline and getting tackled for a loss. North South, not East West.

The reason Cook had to streatch out so far was because cook was looking over his inside shoulder for the catch and locker put it on his outside shoulder because the corner was on Cooks inside. When cook saw the ball, instead of turning his head, he did a full 360 turn and then caught it. The turn around slowed him down enough to where he had to streatch for it. The ball was on target and it was indeed a beautiful throw, great pump fake, and read. That back shoulder throw to Kendal was awesome too. Great throw and catch. I can't wait too see those types of plays all season long.

I agree I wish CJ was running more north south but he's looked solid for pre season, a lot of the sweeps there wasn't much room for him. I hope him and o line take it to another level which I'm sure they will when season starts. Well need it against patriots....gulp.

I don't think Locker was as great as most ESPN analysts or you guys make him out to be.

I'd give his performance a B. He made some nice throws and he also missed a lot of opportunities.

I give him that grade as well. He's not expected to hit every pass but there are a couple of passes that should've been completed if he put it in the right spot. The Locker to Wright TD was a beauty but the other nice catch and Cook kind of bailed Locker out. He also missed a couple passes high (the DL got their hands up against Locker and I think that affected him). I can't wait to see him play with an open playbook, should be pretty dangerous. If Britt would get his head out of his butt and stay healthy we would have a top 5 offense.

Locker played well today, over 50% of passes complete, 134 yards, 2 TD's. He could have easily done better, but I can't get to excited because last game CJ also had 2 TD's and today well.......:shakehead:

Its not always pretty with Jake, but he gets the job done. Very pleased to see his progression from last week to tonight. And I like how he protects himself sliding and getting out of bounds on scrambles

He looked much better. He's gonna have a lot of work ahead of him though, because every team is going to make HIM beat them, they're going to stack the box and CJs is going to have nights like this every week especially with his terrible vision not seeing holes.

That's the bigger problem in my eyes, Jake is going to be alright as long as he can take care of the football, but I just don't think CJ has anything. I saw absolutely nothing from CJ, very disappointed.
