Jake Locker’s starting fate could hinge on Friday night

We would have a QB with as many INTs as MH and JL have combined in preseason so far.

If there's an alternate, it's hard to make a case for Peyton right now. He looks meh in the preseason thus far.

3 picks, 2 TDs isn't what I'd want at QB either.

 

I think Jake let the moment overwhelm him. It seems like he sometimes had problems coming out too hyped, too tight at UW too. Maybe something worth consulting with a sports shrink, I dunno.

Quite frankly, if the WRs and OLine don't get their sheet together, its not gonna matter who we start at QB, they are gonna be hauled off in a cart anyway.

 

Lame. Neither did he gameplan for them. Didn't get to work with the first team.

 

There's a big difference in starting games and coming in the second half. That's a fact.

Did you see any of those INTs? They've been flukes that bounced off the WRs or the defensive line have batted..and his WRs in Denver dropped what would have been a few TDs. He's with a whole new team so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. His last INT, though, was uuuuuuuugly.

I'm really hoping Locker can turn it around and claim the starting job anyway. I think Hass would be a serviceable backup in case he got hurt, and if Palmer would just call plays based on Locker's strengths, I think he'd be fine. Not to mention how a mobile QB always seemed to benefit CJ.

 

What I would really like, would for our recievers to pull thier heads out of thier asses and run correct routes with some seperation and then to actually catch the friggen ball when it hit's thier hands.

 

It's funny, its only pre-season, every single position has reversed from last year. Anybody else notice that?
