i was actually thinking that throughout the day.... how mad would i be if i had to pay almost 10,000 for missing a meeting.... and how many years would it take to pay it off...
but then again... that's the life you get when you're in entertainment.... 10,000 for him is probably like 250 for an average middle class person...

The Giants two different years recently picked right before or after the Titans in NFL draft and both times the Giants got the better player. We were very close to getting Hakeem Nicks but the Giants snapped him up one pick difference between Nicks and Britt. Then the Giants grabbed Pierre Paul who has been outstanding while with the next pick we got Derrick Morgan who has yet to do much.We could've had Hakeem Nicks on offense and Pierre Paul on defense.

As far as Kenny Britt goes he could've been a top notch receiver and has the talent to be a game changer but he doesn't have any brains to go with his physical talents. He dominated games i'll never forget him single handedly beating Philly with a couple TD's and almost three hundred yards in one game.Had he been able to stay healthy and out of trouble we would've possibly been 11-5 instead of 9-7 last year.He was doing great last year until he got hurt in the first part of the season

A healthy Britt with his head in the right place could easily dominate at the receiver spot and make the offense way better especially if Locker were to start.Hurts when you have a game changer who can't get on the field.

Who knows if we would have even have taken those guys, and if we did, who knows if they would have been good players here.

I still haven't lost hope in Kenny. However, he definitely has an uphill battle. We all make mistakes in life. I don't want to be chastised for mine, so I won't throw around insults towards him.

Only problem with this... Is we arnt talking just a couple screw ups now and never had a chance to get right. He just continues to act like a bum. Time after time. Winder what the trade value of an egotistical, overly talented, injury prone WR is right now...

True. A good character would learn from his mistakes and not cry when having to pay for them. After each of his screw ups we can always hope THAT was the eye-opener he needed and get his life in check. After so many of those moments all we can do now is shrug our shoulders and not be too shocked by it. There is a pattern here, and it is not changing.

Funny how he says, "I've just got to take it on the chin." and then complains about being fined for missing a rehab session. The team is obviously put out with him if he got fined for it. They didn't have to do that, but they chose to. The world may never really know how talented Britt is at this rate.

But would YOU miss a meeting if you knew there was a fine attached. First off, I have zero doubt he knew that he would be fined for missing that appointment. I am pretty sure the team does not keep that secret from the players and that it is explained very clearly up front. He is just pissed at the amount, not the fact he got fined in general...that is my take....which just shows he willingly missed it thinking he was gong to get away "easy".

Well, 18 has not deserved that with this team yet. He has continually shown he has no respect for the team, the investment the team has already made in him or his team mates. So IMO he is lucky its only 9k.

For the money he has already gotten he should quit with the "I got kids" routine. It rings hollow for most folks who "have kids" and do so making significantly less than this guy.

Actually, I think we know just how talented he is....I think the team clearly knows that as well...that is why all the frustration with the guy. I really hate drawing the comparison, but its like Pacman....was clear how good a corner and return guy he was for us...but after all his crap what has he done...zip.

Its frustrating for fans to watch a guy get a chance then turn into another disaster. If I was Bud, I would be PO'd and would tell the guy that.

Everyone makes excuses for the guy...raised in a bad area of town...bad this, poor that....well it did not keep him from getting here and everyone that makes excuses for his idiotic behavior only enables guys like this to keep going because they dont see the end of the rope they are being given.

Two words for the apologists....Keith Bulluck. Dude grew up in poor surroundings....no gravy train and turned into a first class player, making no excuses for himself.

You do with what you have....and you either do it right...or like 18...do it wrong.
