Madden 13

I will wait for it to hit $39.99 or $29.99... Which will be around October or November.

 

Ill buy it just for a roster update. I dont care that I am throwing my money at them. I love the way Madden plays even if I do think there is room for improvement. Cant wait to use our updated roster!

 

That's the biggest problem I have with it.

They should throw everything they've got into one game, rather than releasing similar versions each year, and allow you to spend $20 each year to update the current season's roster (and of course free throughout that season).

The new rosters are the only reason people buy the new games. I edited our team a few weeks ago and noticed that Wimbley is 99 overall when you switch him from OLB to DE. They will surely fix that since he's going to be primarily a DE. The OLB to DE rating change works with a lot of players in the game. Not very realistic.

 

Oooh, something shiny and new they're adding to Madden?!!?

I always buy the new Madden, feel bad about it, and dont touch it til March.

 

And this is why we get sh*tty games. Blindly forking over your money doesn't do anything but encourage a developer that clearly doesn't care about improving its game because there's no competition to run against it. Every time you buy something you're giving that product and its producer a vote of approval. If people keep buying this crap game there will never be any significant changes.

The developers have had their hands around these consoles since 2006, yet there have been minimal improvements. Can you imagine what the excuses are going to be when the new consoles come out? "Well, this is the first time we're writing code for this system, so there are going to be bugs." Six years later and there are still the same bugs, guaranteed.

 

Fry you're right, but sadly we have no options other than not to buy it. And that's just no fun.

 

So just line up and take it. Not really the best course of action....

 

It's the only NFL game, they could make no improvements ever and it would still sell.
