At the very least, it is an exciting pick for the fans. I didn't know this dude existed and now I'm amped to check him out.

 

No wonder he sucks on the field, he spends all his damn time on here arguin about draft picks instead of, ya know, not sucking

 

aghhhhh get em... I agree with you man... I like this draft. We may not have gotten all the players we wanted as fans, but our FO addressed the teams needs with some good looking players.

 

Did the Cook just get burned? I know Palmer thinks Cook is a big dummy!

 

Looks like a developmental TE with topend measurables. Could be the other TE opposed to Cook this year, might actually challenge him in the offseason in a few year

Keeps with the draft theme we have going, picking many developmental guys. I just hope we start seeing big time results with OTAs this year.-

 

Brother… I just flat out love your optimism!!! I don’t necessarily agree with all your points but your posts definitely give me some hope in this draft class.

I have to admit that this guy gets me excited. My concern is was he actually worth not only a 5th round pick but also a 7th? We’ll never know. I hope so.

I would like to see him play on both sides of the ball. With a fair opportunity he could actually win a rotational spot on the DLine

 

That's the beauty of it...he can compete at TE and if it doesn't work out we can move him to DE. he's 6'6 260 and runs a 4.5...I'm not usually one to gawk over measurables, but that is redonk! he also repped out 225 22 times with a 37 inch vertical..

He makes me think of Jimmy Graham...
