Titans Fifth-Round Draft Pick (#145): SMU DE/TE Taylor Thompson

Hell, just LOOK at the guy. With his talent, he could be a starter at several positions.

No. I call almost every player as what they'll be. The only ones I didn't get right in recent years are Robert Johnson and McCarthy...who I thought would be a solid contender for Hope's job, but apparently is doing nothing- and the other I thought would be good, just not great. Knew he'd be better than Ayers though and made that point often.

 

No he doesn't. You can't back that up with any fact.

 

I actually agree with most of what is said, although I think Wright could be better than you suggest.

 

Which tells us we blindly took a 6'6 fast guy that we thought will just magically be able to play TE...

We draft like 5th grade kids would.

 

I love Wright and was hyping him pre-draft. But he doesn't have the burst that Steve Smith has.

He's more Derick Mason type.

 

If he has Mason's career, that's a win for us.

But if we can't stop anyone on D, a good WR is useless.

 

I like it. Cook and Thompson, Britt Wright and Washington with CJ. It seems its a NE type offense they are putting together. Now, sign Osi and draft defense please.
