I thought blocking was why we made stevens a millionaire? He sure does catch it much 21 catches in his career. We have a center that doesnt block why worry about a TE that does? This guy in the 7th maybe but to trade up to get a guy that I bet goes undrafted is terrible

Taylor Thompson isn't a blocking TE, or so i've been told. Been told he'll be an extremely high upside pass catching TE in the NFL.

    Just about to say.....

A guy who runs a 4.5 does not plan on being a blocking tightend for his career.

    What are we doing?

I hope this guy is supposed to be a DE. Why in the world would we be drafting TE again?

For a team like the Titans that rarely move (unless its for a TE i guess lol). For them to move up to get this guy..I have to think they truly saw something in him

He played TE in High School and converted to DE at SMU. Not sure if he played TE at SMU, but he lost about 20-30 pounds leading up to the draft. He has a 6'6" 259 pound frame. Ran in the 4.5s and again he played TE in high school, so he at least understands routes and can catch the ball. He should be a project, but if he plays well he could have a big impact. As we know, TE's with his frame and speed have become a huge commodity in the NFL over the past few years.

Yeah, Scott Wright had him going in the 3rd round in his mock draft.

I love this pick. If our coaches can't figure out how to use a six foot six 275 lb tight end that blocks well, runs in the 4.5's, and has good hands, then we are in trouble.

This guy was a steal. I'm seeing lots of experts that had him in the third. This guy could be a Gronkowski type player.

Our FO is definately thinking outside the box. They've landed us five players, every one of whom has all pro talent. I'm thrilled.

I wonder if stevens COULD play center? Get me either a Center, or Janzen Jackson in the sixth, and this draft gets an A+ from me.

This is a very, very interesting TE prospect. Him & Cook in passing situations as TEs could be scary for opposing defenses.

Why do we need another TE when we just extended Craig Stevens and Cook just had his best year?
