judging from his film I thought he was low to mid 4.3s and he ran low to mid 4.4 at his pro day much more accurate

 

Read other evals . . . he can play the outside and will be able to grow into an outside wr . . . but he will start in the slot.

 

I'm fine with that let him play the slot, Williams and Washington playing the outside. Then when Washington time is done Wright should contribute on the outside.

I got 4 texts from friends that read "Great pick".. I guess we shall see.

 

I'm warming up to the pick like I said I would. But my initial reaction was complete shock.

I was so happy to see DeCastro, Hightower, and Mercilus available. I thought there was no way we'd pass on all of those guys.

There are still tons of good defensive players available... Devon Still, Jerel Worthy, Vinny Curry, Brandon Thompson, Courtney Upshaw, etc. Trade up in the 2nd if need be, then select our C in the 3rd.

 

did Wright have his shoelaces tied together at the combine.

4.61 is 4.61 and thats not even close too a good time for a WR

 

Wright will start next year opposite of Britt and Washington goes into the slot.
