Until Hasslebeck shows me hes not able to keep this team going strong on the passing game and making good decisions i have to stay with Hasselbeck. Locker showed me hes the real deal, but he ain ready YET IMO. Hes come in from being down and having to lead the team back, and he came thru on alot. However, i still think he needs another year before id feel comfortable knowing hed be the same in every game and out, instead of HOPING hes ready.

He already showed me he wasn't capable of keeping the team going strong the second half of last year. Do people not remember how crappy he played at times?

    1. Watching preseason last year, even then, with NO offseason, Jake looked as good or better.

    2. Jake has wheels, which is a dimension Hass doesn't.

    3. Jake seems to really energize this team when he came in last season. Partly, that is unfair to hass, as the whole team knows that Jake is the guy eventually, but it is what it is.

    4. Jake is gonna have to start and take his lumps at some point. Might as well be this year. All you accomplish by starting hass over Locker is delay Jake's development, and the whole team's progress, by a year.

Bottom line, there is no reason whatsoever to start Hass this year. Best case scenario with hass, we win the division and make a short playoff run. Jake can do that too. Hass just doesn't have the years left to be the guy long term for this team.
