Ruud to the Seahawks

 

I always like Ruud for a few years until his last at Tampa. His last year, it was evident that he was a huge liability against the run but fairly good against the pass.

When I found out he was coming to Tennessee to replace Tulluch I figured it would be a decent signing since we were so bad against the tight ends. Something happened and he just lost it.

I think he is undersized/not physical enough to play middle linebacker. Probably suited to play outside and benefits from having good players around him. Wish him luck though.

Same I use to like him but didn't really pay attention to him his last year in Tampa. I thought when we signed him it was a good one and should easily replace Tulloch.

 

I would take Benson over Ringer as the back up RB but I doubt that happens. I can see us getting Koppen and possibly Trufant as the nickel CB.

 

Koppen would be a nice signing just to get Amano out of the starting lineup and possibly Tennessee. Always liked how Bullitt played but he is injury prone but he would be good as a spot starter and special teamer. Why do people want Franklin he had one good year with the 49ers and has sucked ever since. He is big so what Shaun Smith is big too look how that turned out. Trufant sure, Thomas meh we have people to stop the run we need people to hit the QB. Landri same as Thomas.

I'd give a 4th for Sammie Lee Hill though.

 

Out of that list I want Koppen, Hightower, and Trufant. All would come fairly cheap and upgrades to their respective position.
