Jake Locker

Hass will be solid til mid season. He seemed to tire out mid season in 2011. he looked like Collins out there throwing the ball away or just airing it out to anyone.

 

Not to mention his lame duck deep balls. Here I'm going to throw this 10 yards short...catch it.

 

I like the open competition if everything is REALLY even. There should be a obvious winner during training camp and pre-season. If not and both are neck and neck, then go with Locker who is our future.

 

I look at it more like, if it is even remotely close (basicially unless Locker trips over his own junk) start locker.

Let's give him a year to build chemistry, start becoming the LEADER of this team... so that in 2013, we are hopefully good to go.

 

We've got a young team, both on O and D...should make for an interesting season. Especially can't wait for the draft, seeing as how last year was rushed with the new coaching staff and lockout...it'll be interesting to see how well the staff drafts with a full offseason to scout

 

Well you were ragging on his almost interceptions as if they count so if those count almost beating the Saints counts..

 

Locker's weakness throughout his career has always been consistency with his accuracy, rather than being inaccurate.

That said, if Locker still struggles with that, Id prefer Hass to start again while Locker absorbs thngs again, even if Locker looks better.

And thats because to me he looks like Aaron Rodgers 2.0 when hes on top of things. With his armstrength and mobility.

 

I hope Jake Locker wins the job and gets a chance to start this year. He has a great arm and can run around better than Vince Young.

 

I only remember one play where Locker scrambled a bit, then out armed a protect D, throwing a deepstrike to Nate Washington for a TD right after the Sants had thought they Iced the game.

That play still gives me goosebumps, someone linkk a highlight of that.
