John Abraham Goes Back to Atlanta

he was a failure at DE, not DT. how hard is this to understand? my point is we have a poor history of acquiring DEs from the draft. we're deep at DT at this point. we need a vet on the line besides re-signing Dave Ball. Abraham would have been an upgrade this season, regardless of his age.

 

Not hard to understand, but maybe we drafted him to play DT?...

And we're not deep at DT, imo. Gotta have someone to play beside Casey.

Hopefully Brandon Thompson.

 

deep relatively speaking. Klug and Casey have both shown lots of potential and we actually have a couple of other players at the position actually on roster, which is way more than we can say for DE at this point.

 

We need a DT that can eat up double teams...freeing guys like Klug and Casey to wreak havoc.

 

True. It's weird that our DTs have better odds of getting sacks than our DEs.

I'm telling you though... Brandon Thompson makes DEs. I'd die if we drafted him.

so yeah, it was plausible we'd at least bring these guys in and take a look. i dont know why you guys get so butthurt about it, it's pretty obvious that's what's going on.
