He's too old to even realize what is going on, their is no way we can afford all these guys come in. I don't understand one bit why we would pursue Manning. Myers/Wells would be a great addition along with Hutchinson.

 

Guys we're not cutting Amano, he would cost more to cut than to keep on the team. Also, people forget he was actually a pretty good Guard, just because he was moved into a position he wasn't comfortable with doesn't mean he's a bad player. If I had to pick one OL position to spend money on it would be Center because Amano would be fine at Guard.

For the record I hope we get both him and Hutch.

 

I think Amano problem was he is just too slow, I speak from experience playing every position on the line. You have to be fast to get the ball out of your hands to get situated to block. That's why he was much better at guard right out of your stance your ready to block.

Let Amano, Valesco, Harris (odd man out) battle it out draft one or two project lineman to become eventual starters.

 

Ummm... we signed Amano with very little guaranteed money so I'd doubt he'd be that big of a hit. Plus, don't we not have to pay his bonus until Saturday.

Amano's deal had a 7.5mil signing bonus. If we cut him the remaining accelerates onto this yrs cap. So that would be a 4.35mil cap hit for the remaining singing bonus. His base salary for this yr is 3.2mil. So it would cost the Titans about 1mil to cut him. Amano is safe.
