Manning is going to get paid, but at the end of the day, it comes down to having a team he can win with. Yes, the Titans are a good, up and coming football team; however, with the loss of Cortland Finnegan and a depleted defensive line, how can we expect to be a BETTER defense? That was the missing piece of the puzzle and Manning or no Manning, it still will be.

 

I love the idea of the Titans winning the Super Bowl... I just don't know if I would like it if it was all because of Manning. If we get in it would be all about Manning, not the Titans. I'd rather win playing smash mouth football with a killer D and a solid offense and make them talk about that.

We are better than the Broncos, Cardinals, and Dolphins. So if money isn't an issue, we are the best fit.

 

I love it. If he's not right or something, put Locker in. I think it's worth the risk. Think of what COULD happen. Locker's the man but he's not gonna make the Titans Super Bowl contenders this coming season. Manning COULD.

It's true that it COULD be a financial mistake if Manning has a wet noodle for an arm now. After catching balls from Peyton recently, Brandon Stokley said he's the same as he was when he played with him. That was pretty good if you recall.

 

I'm glad we found our offseason drama at least. This poll result is amazing.

 

Yeah it's kinda refreshing for something interesting happening at all this time of the year for Titans fans.

 

This is the Titans we are talking about. The team that gave $8 million to Kerry Collins and $8 million to Matt Hasselbeck. The team whose owner came out and basically said he wants Manning at any cost.

If the Titans sign Manning, he is going to get a HUGE contract. I would guess more than $10 million per year (maybe $15) and at least $20 million guaranteed.
