I don't think I'd want Avery or Hawkins back. Pass on both of them.

Avery is still very young, and even though his stats don't show it, he looked very athletic and showed signs of great potential before he was injured. I would love to give him another year if cheap.

Avery is not where he'd like to be in his career so maybe we can keep him for next to nothing, he's in no position to be making any type of demands.

Dont think we even sniff Campbell. We don't run a 3-4 and he's a top FA, not our FOs style

The guy was not only learning a new system, but also overcoming a serious knee injury. For him to compete at a professional level after what he went through, I was surprised to see him play at the level that he did.

Not every player is Britt right out the bag, some players take longer to develop. Avery is a guy with a high upside because of his elite speed.

Bailey Shaw and Stevens at the top of the list. Yep this looks like our front office to me.

I hope you're right. I'd love for Avery to help us out but he didn't show much in the limited time he did play. I didn't take into account his recovering from injury so I'm willing to see what he can with a full offseason to work with the team.

He'll fit in perfectly on our line! We'll just line him up at DE and continue to get killed by the run on the perimeter. I swear, it looks like we're running a 3-3. You made a good point, and I was just being sarcastic, but Campbell (who's expected to re-sign with the Cards) would be a good fit here if we're going to the 3-4. Right now, it looks like we're in between a 3-4 and a 4-3, and need to pick one way or the other.

I know the 3-4 is almost a taboo subject here, but I'm of the opinion that we need drastic changes on the D-Line. I don't see how we could keep Jason Jones here playing 4-3 DE. A lot of us thought he could be like another Kevin Carter. Instead he was like a 3-4 DE playing 4-3 DE, digging for that last gear every time a runner found the edge, and not finding it.

I don't think we need to change over to the 3-4. I just don't think we can keep guys like Jones around if we are going to stick with the 4-3 and not move him back inside. And Morgan? I don't see how the FO can continue as if he has a future here. His injury concerns have been too many and production too little. Don't need to replace him necessarily, but we need some help if he can't cut it.

This was one of our worst seasons on the D-Line. Need to look at all the options. If we start the season like this: Morgan - Casy - Smith - Jones, we're boned.
