THis is a great move as far as he's concerned.. Good QB, high draft pick. It can only get better. They won't call for his job for at least 3 years.

 

Hard to argue with a lot of this post but how can anyone at this point truthfully think Cutler wasn't the best pick? Granted, it would have been a reach to take Cutler at #3 overall but Tebow was a reach in the 1st round and he's already outplayed VY even being horrible.

NOT EVERYTHING IS AS CUT AND DRY AS YOU THINK IT IS. Fisher put VY in when he wanted to in 2009 (not 06) which was after two un-winnable games and a bye week to get Young ready not to mention the schedule lightened up. Also, if Adams isn't meddling why was he asking Fisher to put VY in? Fisher wasn't scared of Adams as you could tell when he walked away and knew he could get hired as soon as he wanted to by what most likely would be a better owner and franchise!

Just so ridiculous that Bud Adams had a stupid rule blocking the Titans from getting Gregg Williams back before Cecil was hired yet the Rams and Saints organizations don't let stupidity handicap them from winning.

How does Adams get so many passes? Leaving Oiler fans behind, denying coaching hires, forcing draft picks, flipping the middle finger at another owner, running off a great coach...

Most admit that the fact we blocked Williams from coming back was insanely stupid and made it worse by hiring Cecil.. Look where our defense has been since then.. It's starting to get better but it's taking time.. Williams is a fantastic hire by Fisher, but Schottenheimer is a very dumb one.

He got hired by the only team who wanted him in the end. Miami weren't going to give him what he wanted. You're hot coach was wanted by one team in the end and he'll be gone in about 4 years.

 

Poor Rams. They get Fisher and dbc. Haven't they been through enough?
