So he signed him and then fired him.

We never signed him after the 2010 season.

He was fired before Fisher was gone. You can google, wiki, etc to confirm.

Nickey is only 31. It's quite possible that Fisher could bring him to the Rams.

I think TJ is impartial. Your normal post seem few and far between nowadays.

Bud hasn't been a meddling owner since the franchise Oiler days.
So he wanted VY. In hindsight the other options Cutler and Leinart have hardly been QB's anyone wishes we should have picked instead of VY.

Bud telling Fisher to start VY in 06 after the terrible start saved Fishers season.

There are better owners but Bud hasn't been a bad one. Without him the Titans wouldn't be in Nashville.

I think he lost the team here and I sometimes felt that he was more concerned with his relationships and image than the team. For that reason, I wanted him gone.

With that said, he is a name and he is a players coach. The Rams have some talent and he should bring in some excitement and he should be fresh after a year off, so I think he'll do a good job. I don't think he'll stay in football long enough to go stale like he did with Tennessee.

Poor Cecil. Extended and fired within two months. Screw him.

Best of luck to Fisher in St Louis. I'll bet his first priority will be preparing the Rams for the fall of their star RB. Not sure if he'll take a RB #2 overall, but by the end of the 2nd round, I think the Rams will have drafted their next starting RB.

Anyone who thinks Jeff Fisher is going to spend the #2 overall pick on a wide receiver in Blackmon clearly didn't pay attention when Fisher was here. Rams fans, get ready for 3rd and 5th round receivers with promising upside who wont pan out!

If greg williams really goes with fisher, and he takes Blackman at 2, he landed the gig with the most upside. Bradford needs weapons and fisher track record is he will not get them for him.
