I really hope they start Locker. It seems a waste to sit him. You could see a whole difference in the offense when he was out there, at least IMO.

What do you mean Locker didn't complete one training camp? He was there all of training camp.
The reason McNair couldn't ever put up huge passing yards is because his coach never let him. Fisher held back on passing plays for a few reasons, one of which was McNair's constant aches and pains. Why set your QB up for failure by exposing his beaten up body to extra hits....It also didn't help McNair that he read inside out. When you do that you get less yards cause it's usually the TE you're throwing to.

I agree completely, was just merely pointing out the yardage facts. Although Fisher was going to play Fisherball regardless of Steve's injuries, so I wouldn't have expected much more.

I was shocked (and sickened) that we hadn't had a 3500 yard passer since 1991. 20 YEARS. TWENTY YEARS. 3500 really isn't that much, either...

I post anit-Fisher remarks 24-7, but I like some stuff about the guy. Him trying to rule EVERYTHING is one thing I can't stand though. He'd actually get mad at Steve at times for scrambling. That "live to fight another down" phrase should be tattooed to Fisher's face.

But he's not our problem anymore, or at least that's what my doctor tells me.

at least Locker hasn't been thrown into the fire like alot of young QB's have and has been able to learn in his first season.
