    90%?

Vs Atlanta yes, but he played 1 quarter
Vs Saints, he came in with 11 mins left in the 2nd quarter with the score 3-0, THREE to ZERO with 3 quarters left. They were playing prevent?
vs Colts, he played 6 minutes down 14, and scored a TD, and got to the 5 another time which would have resulted in a FG in most situations.

    So,
He's played about 20 minutes in blowouts
He's played about 40 minutes in close games.

    66% in close games.

Where is this 90% from again?

Ok then, so he's played 66% in close games and hasn't won...so why do you think he gives us the best chance to win?

Because he actually kept up with the Saints the whole game, and came within 1 play of winning. I'm pretty confident we wouldn't have even been in that game had Hasselbeck played the whole 4 quarters. It was the Saints, a team that nobody expected us to beat but with Locker I felt like we had a chance the entire game.

Sure he's not a great player yet, but he can make plays, and he has looked much better than Hasselbeck has for 6 weeks. It's as simple as that.

I'm not going to argue that he is the best option either, although he might be if the O-line doesn't pick up its play and protect Matt. If there is anything that I know from watching Matt for years. He does very well without too much pressure. He can do well with pressure if he has good timing and communication with A receiver (see Bobby Engram). I love the guy. I own his Seahawk jersey, but, truth be told, without great protection, he can go from not too good to very bad. If he still had his mobility, that would be another story....

If you want to be a negative Nancy and disregard all the experiance he has so far, fine. That's pretty ignorant, but fine.

However, I can think of about 30 reasons why HassleCollins DOES NOT give us the best chance to win. So Locker is the next in line.

Either way, Locker is still the best option.

Unless you want to whip RustNasty out of the toolshed. Judging by how often he finds the sideline camera I know he is itchin to get out there and captain the Rustfense one more time.

Let's be nice. The "Great Elf" was the one who came over to hold up Washington after he limped to the sidelines against the Saints.

In the spirit of the season he shall be named "The Rifle Elf".

The Jags defense is light years better than the Saints. And don't forget, that one play that Locker missed was the 1 play Hasselbeck made.
